National leader and school record-setter with 13 pickoffs for the season... easily regarded as the best defensive catcher in the conference and arguably one of the best in the country... threw out 26 of 64 base stealers for a success rate of 41 percent... appeared in 57 games making 56 starts, all behind the plate... hit .242 for the season with six doubles, a triple and 24 runs batted in... hit .241 with 13 RBIs in conference games... had 10 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games... had a 3-for-4 game with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored in a win over Creighton (Feb. 27)... went 3-for-3 with a double, run scored and career-best four RBIs against Sam Houston State (April 3)... 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored against UTSA (April 17).
