2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in the high jump at three meets on the season with two results…places second at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational with a jump of 5-0 ½ (1.63m)…best mark of the season came at the SLC Outdoor Championships where she posted a jump of 5-3 ¾ finishing 14
th overall
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in the high jump in five meets during the season with five top-10 finishes…set a new career best at the UA Tyson Invitational with a mark of 5-8 ¾ (1.75m) taking second at the meet…also took silver at the SLC Indoor Championships (5-7 ½)…had jumps of 5-6 at the LSU Bayou Bengal, 5-6 ½ at the Pittsburg State Invitational, and 5-5 ¾ at the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational
2017 Outdoor Season: Participated in nine meets in the high jump… qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary where she placed 33
rd (5-6 1/2)… earned a silver medal at the SLC Outdoor Championships (5-7 3/4)… named 2017 LSWA’s All-Louisiana Track and Field Team for the high jump… brought home seven top-four results throughout the season including two wins, the McNeese Cowboy Relays (5-7) and the Louisiana Tech Jim Mize Invitational (5-8)… performance at the Louisiana Tech Jim Mize Invitational resulted in a tie of fourth place on the Lady Demon Top 5 list and a personal record... maintained long jump and triple jump personal records of 15-6 and 34-5 3/4, respectively.
2017 Indoor Season: Participated in four meets in the high jump… placed 12
th in the SLC Indoor Championships (5-2 1/2)… had two top-five results throughout the season, fourth place at the Pittsburg State Invitational (5-06) resulting in a team season-best and personal best and fifth place at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic (5-5 1/2).
2016 Outdoor Season: Participated in the high jump in six meets … finished with four top-fives, including a third-place result at the Leon Johnson Invitational (5-05.25) … qualified for the SLC Outdoor Championships, where she claimed second overall (5-05.00).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in the high jump in four meets with three top-five finishes … took home first place (5-01.00) at the McNeese Invite … qualified for the SLC Indoor Championships where she was fourth overall (5-05.00).
2015 Outdoor Season: Participated in jumps at eight meets… had three top-three finishes… jumped a best in the high jump at Demon Triangular Invite with first-place finish of 5-6 – ranked ninth in the SLC… at Louisiana Tech Jim Mize Invitational had a best of 15-6 in the long jump… in the triple jump had a best of 34-05.75 at MSU Cowboy Relays.
2015 Indoor Season: Participated in the high jump at three meets… best performance at TAMU 13-Team Invitational with a jump of 5-1.75… ranked 27th in the SLC.
High School: Quanese was an outdoor state champion in track her sophomore year and an indoor state champion in her senior year... maintained a 3.2 GPA at Ruston High School.
Personal: Daughter of Yolanda Jones and Quincy Young… born Nov. 20, 1995... has three younger sisters, Abriana, Danae, and Asia... majoring in accounting… aspires to have her own accounting firm.
