2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in both the long and triple jumps at seven meets during the season…placed fourth in the long in four straight meets in the month of April…the SFA Skecher’s Performance Carl Kight Invitational (18-7), ULM Warhawk Invitational (18-3), LSU Alumni Gold (18-0 ½), and Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (18-10 ¾), her best mark of the season in the event…took the bronze spot at the MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge with a jump of 18-2 ¼…had four top-five finishes in the triple in six total meets…had her highest finish of third at the ULM Warhawk Invitational with a jump of 36-11 ¾…longest jump of the season came in the SLC Outdoor Championships where she leapt 39-6 (12.04), setting new career best, and taking fifth at the conference meet…placed fourth at both the MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge (37-9 ¼) and the LSU Alumni Gold (37-6) meets
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in both the long and triple jumps at four meets during the season…best mark and best finish in the long jump came at the Pittsburg State Invitational where she leapt 18-6” (5.64) taking eighth place at the meet…posted a mark of 17-9 ¾ at the SLC Indoor Championships taking 11
th at the meet…earned four top-10 finishes in four meets in the triple jump with her best being a fifth place finish at the LSU Bayou Bengal (37-9 ½)…longest jump of the season came at the SLC Indoor Championships where she posted a distance of 38-7 ½” finished sixth overall…placed eighth at the Pittsburg State Invitational (37-6 ¾) and 10
th at the UA Tyson Invitational (37-3)
2017 Outdoor Season: Participated in the long jump and triple jump events in seven meets… competed in the SLC Outdoor Championships placing 12
th in the long jump (17-9 1/2) and 16
th in the triple jump (37-2 1/2)… placed in the top-five eight times including a win at the Baylor Invitational in the triple jump (39-3 3/4) with a wind assistance of 4.9 and a second place result at the TCU Invitational also in the triple jump (40-1 1/4) that was a team season-best and personal record… improved her long jump personal record to 18-9 3/4.
2017 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets in the long jump and triple jump… competed in the SLC Indoor Championships and placed third in the triple jump (39-11 1/2) for a team season-best and personal record and fifth in the long jump (19-3/4) for another personal record… placed in the top-five five times throughout the season in both the long jump and triple jump events.
Prior to NSU: Earned 2016 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field All-American honors in the long jump while at Coffeyville (Kansas) Community College ... also was a 2015 All-American campaign in the triple jump.
Personal: Daughter of Sonya and Parrish Nixon … has four siblings … majoring in communication.
