2009 NCAA OUTDOOR REGIONAL QUALIFIER
2010 Indoor Season: Ranked 6th in the SLC in the weight throw with a toss of 55-01.5 when she placed fourth at the conference indoor meet.
2009 Season: Outdoor season, qualified for the NCAA MidEast Regionals in the hammer throw... demolished the school record when she threw a 183-07 at the NCAA meet where she placed 14th... had three first place finishes in that event and five others where she placed second or third... finished second at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 175-07... all but one of her scored hammer throws during the season would've beaten the old school record... also threw the discus and had a season best 133-05 mark at the LSU Relays... for the indoor season, competed in the weight throw event and had a second place finish at the SLC Indoor Championships with a personal best and school record throw of 55-3.50.
2008 Season: Had five top-5 finishes in the hammer throw in the outdoor season and placed sixth at the SLC Championships with a throw of 155-00... tossed it 161-08 at the Cowboy Relays for the fifth longest throw in the SLC for the season... threw the discus a personal best 141-02 at the LSU Alumni Gold and ranked seventh in the league with that toss... for the indoor season, placed seventh at the SLC Championships in the weight throw with a personal best toss of 51-09.75.
2007 Season: Had five top 10 finishes in her outdoor events... best finish was sixth in the discus at the Arkansas John McDonnell Invitational where she threw a personal best 136-10... placed seventh in the discus at the Louisiana Classics with a throw of 134-01.
High School: Lettered four years in track and one year in volleyball, softball, and powerlifting... threw a 133.5 in the discus and 40.8 in the shot put... named to the All-Academic team in 2005 and 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Robert Lee Griffin, Jr and Jacqueline Griffin.... father is retired army... has one sister, Jihan Marie, and a brother, Robert Lee, III... is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes... majoring in fashion merchandising... nicknamed "Monee."
