2009 Season: Ran for the Demons in the cross country season but not in the indoor or outdoor seasons.

2008 Season: Competed in the 800 meters and was a member of the 4x400 relay team... placed sixth at the Cowboy Relays in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.71... did not compete in the indoor season.

2007 Cross Country Season: Had a 19th place finish at the Northwestern State Invitational where he ran a 25:49... placed 26th at the Centenary Invitational with a time of 33:01.

High School: Lettered two seasons in cross country and track and four in soccer... member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.

Personal: Son of Jerry Mehl and Jeannette Hotard... on brother, Cory (19)... majoring in liberal arts scientific inquiry... plans after graduating include sports performance research and medicine... full name is Mathieu Cameron Mehl... born Jan. 17, 1989.
