2011 Season:
 • Started all 54 games for the Demons splitting time between shortstop and third base
 • Ranked second on the team in RBI (29), doubles (13), and batting average (.309)
 • Third on the team in at-bats (194) and homers (3)
 • Scored 24 runs, which ranked fifth on the team
 • personal best 10-game hit streak including seven conference games and the upset win at LSU.
 • Had 16 multi-hit games including his single-game career-high against Sam Houston when he was 4-for-4 with 2 RBI and a double
 • His single-game career RBI (6) was achieved against Texas-San Antonio with a three-run homer and a two-run double
 • In the second game of the season against Grambling, he hit a two-run blast and finished 2-of-4 and scoring three runs
 • Hit .306 with runners on and .314 with the bases loaded
 
Prior to NSU:  
• Played one season at El Paso Community College before transferring to New Mexico Junior College where he earned all-conference honors as a third baseman 
• earned all-conference honors at EPCC as a shortstop 
• named to the Dean’s List
 
Hinojos in High School:  
• Earned all-city and all-state honors as a junior and a senior at Franklin High School 
• named all-city as a sophomore and all-district as a freshman 
• also lettered in football
 
Hinojos’ Personal:  
• Born Nov. 30, 1989... son of Lorenzo and Gloria Hinojos 
• one brother, Anthony (26) and a sister, Crystal (30) 
• majoring in criminal justice
