General: NSU's best big passing man, has an excellent touch from the twenty foot range. With his ability to get the ball into the tall timber and remarkable shooting skills, could be a factor this season.

1986-87: Saw most of his action over last quarter of season ... played in just three of team's first 22 games (scoring five points) before exploding for 15 markers at home against McNeese State (2/11) .. went six of ten from the floor, including three of four from the three point range ...  did all that in just twenty minutes of action, has longest stint of the season ... played in last five contests after that performance and averaged 3.8 ppg in that span ... three rebounds vs. East Texas State University (12/2) were season high and passed off for six assists against Arkansas Baptist (1/10) for season's best effort ... 3.1 scoring average was tops among all freshman players. 

High School: -- First team all-state (Class A) and co-district MVP after scoring 12.6 ppg and 10.1 rpg ... blocked 2.5 shots per game and had a like number of assists ... shot 53% from the field and 74% from the line ... named to the first team at Blue Chip camp conducted at Northern Kentucky University prior to his senior year.

Personal:  19 years old ... majoring in pre-medicine.

Coach Beasley Says: "Alan will be counted on for playing time this year. He's the best passer on our team and one of our best three point shooters. He's increased his strength since last season and is on target towards becoming a major factor on our team."
