2010 Season: Kaity was a sturdy addition to the Lady Demon pitching staff in her reliever role…in her best outing of the season against Texas-Arlington, Kaity held the Lady Mavericks scoreless in the final 2 2/3 innings of the game and gave up only one hit while striking out five batters…completed the season with a 3.94 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched.
At Tennessee-Chattanooga: In her freshman season, Kaity had a 9-2 record, the best record by a closer in the SOCON (Southern Conference)…the team was SOCON regular season and tournament Champions and reached the NCAA Regional tournament…in her sophomore season, she went 5-4 as the team repeated as SOCON regular season and tournament champions and reached the NCAA Regional Tournament for the second straight season.
At Gordan Lee Memorial HS: Kaity lettered in softball for four seasons under Coach Dana Mull….as a freshman, the team was the GPS district runner-up while she garnered second team Best of Preps GPS…in her sophomore year, the team was third in state division two as Kaity repeated her honors of second team Best of Preps GPS…as a junior, the team was third in state…that season, she set the single season strikeout record with 406, a .396 batting average, nine doubles, three triples, and two homeruns…she earned Best of Preps Player of the Year, North Georgia Pitcher of the Year, Walker County Pitcher of the Year and Gordon Lee HS softball Most Valuable Player…in her last season at Gordon Lee, the team was second in the state… she picked up 396 strikeouts, a .412 batting average, 10 doubles, six triples and three homeruns…Kaity earned Best of Preps 1st Pick, North Georgia Pitcher of the Year, Walker County Player of the Year, school record holder in single season triples and the best team record in school history…she graduated with a 3.3 grade point average and was a member of FCA and named to the Who's Who Among High School Athletes.
