2022 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2022 Season:
• Homered for the fourth time on the season, a two-run shot, in a May 6 win at McNeese.
• delivered a ninth-inning RBI double, pulling NSU within a run in a May 4 loss to Louisiana Tech.
• posted a career-high four hits, driving in a pair of runs, in an April 16 win at Nicholls.
• connected on his third home run of the season, establishing a career high, as part of back-to-back blasts with Bo Willis on April 9 at Incarnate Word.
• slammed a walk-off solo home run to lift the Demons to a 1-0, 10-inning win against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 3.
• had his second two-hit game in a three-game span, going 2-for-5 with an RBI in an April 2 win against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
• connected on his first NSU home run -- a three-run blast -- as part of a five-RBI game in a March 27 win at New Orleans.
• went 2-for-6 with a triple and a then-NSU-career-high three RBIs in a March 15 win against Lamar.
• scored three runs in a game twice against Alcorn on March 12 and 13.
• had a four-game RBI streak in which he totaled seven RBIs from March 9-15.
• had a four-game hit streak that included his first double as a Demon from Feb. 26-March 5.
Prior to NSU:
• Played two seasons at Sam Houston and two at Cisco Junior College.
• batted .272 with six doubles, two triples, two home runs and 16 RBIs in 2021 at Sam Houston in 34 games.
• batted .250 with a pair of doubles and six RBIs in 13 games of the pandemic-shortened 2020 season at Sam Houston.
• batted .343 with 18 doubles, eight triples, 10 home runs and 43 RBIs at Cisco in 2019, slugging .670 and posting an OPS of 1.059.
High School:
• Four-year letterman for coaches Jacob Hooker and Jeff Ashen’s Wildcats.
• helped Big Sandy finish as the state runner-up as a senior, earning first-team all-state honors.
• first-team all-district utility selection as a sophomore.
• graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.
