2022 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2023 Season:
• Appeared in 41 games, starting 32.
• named to the Southland Conference All-Tournament Team after hitting .333 with two home runs and three RBIs in four games.
• put the Demons ahead to stay with a two-run home run in a May 26 SLC Tournament elimination game against McNeese as part of a 3-for-4 performance.
• drilled the only pinch-hit home run of the season for NSU, connecting against New Orleans' Caleb Seroski, to lead off the ninth inning of a May 25 elimination-game loss.
• drew a career-high three walks and stole a base in a May 18 series-opening loss at Southeastern.
• tied a career high with three RBIs, going 2-for-3, in a series-clinching win against McNeese on May 14.
• drilled a two-run, game-tying double in the eighth inning of a 10-inning loss to UIW on April 21.
• finished a triple shy of the cycle, homering for the third straight game, in a 13-inning win against Louisiana Tech on April 4.
• homered and had an RBI double in an April 2 win at New Orleans, his first multi-RBI game of the season.
• his ninth-inning home run was the second of back-to-back homers, following Gray Rowlett.

2022 Season:
• Started 14 games and appeared in 22 in his first Division I season.
• connected on his first career home run, a three-run, first-inning shot, at Louisiana Tech on April 20.
• singled home a run against South Dakota State on March 18 before exiting with an injury.
• hit safely in six straight games from Feb. 20-March 2, batting .304 (7 for 23) in that stretch.
• singled home the tying and go-ahead runs in the Demons' Feb. 25 win against Oklahoma at Globe Life Field.
• went 2-for-4 with a double in his NSU debut against Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 18.
Prior to NSU:
• Played two seasons at Howard College.
• earned first-team all-region honors in 2021, batting .350 with 15 home runs and 72 RBIs.
• was hitting .438 with five home runs and 11 RBIs when COVID-19 canceled the remainder of the 2020 season.
• graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.
• Four-year letterman for coaches Jacob Hooker and Jeff Ashen’s Wildcats.
• named state tournament MVP and Class 2A Player of the Year as a senior as Big Sandy won the state title.
• Class 2A Player of the Year as a junior led the state in home runs as Big Sandy captured the state championship.
• helped Big Sandy to a state runner-up finish as a sophomore.
