2022 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2023 Season:
• Appeared in 47 games, starting 42 in center field as a redshirt junior.
• set career highs in nearly every offensive category, led the team with nine sacrifice bunts and shared the team lead with eight stolen bases.
• drove in a run in the Demons' May 26 SLC Tournament elimination game against McNeese with a bases-loaded hit by pitch.
• followed Broch Holmes' pinch-hit home run with a double in the ninth inning of a May 25 SLC Tournament loss to New Orleans.
• hit safely in a career-long 10 straight games from March 26-April 16, going 11-for-27 (.407) with a pair of multi-hit games in that stretch.
• tied his career high with three hits, doubling twice, in the second game of an April 8 doubleheader against Lamar.
• drove in the first run of an April 2 win at New Orleans with a bases-loaded, hit by pitch.
• delivered a leadoff home run in a March 14 win against ULM.
• had a career-high three hits, including a double and his first career home run, and a career-high three RBIs in a March 4 win against UT Arlington.
• walked three times and drove in his first career run in a Feb. 28 win against Stephen F. Austin.
• had the first multi-hit game of his career, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases in a Feb. 24 win against Seton Hall.
2022 Season:
• Appeared in 19 games, starting three, while serving as NSU's top pinch-running option.
• hit safely in a career-long three straight games from May 1-17 and reached base in his final four appearances of the season.
• had a pinch-hit single at LSU on May 17.
• had a key infield single in the 10th-inning of a May 7 win at McNeese.
• notched his first hit of the season -- a double -- against Southeastern on May 1.
• stole his first base of the season as a pinch runner on March 27 at New Orleans.
• scored a run in three straight games from March 18-23.
2021 Season:
• Appeared in 23 games, starting three, as a third-year freshman.
• collected his first hit of the season, a pinch-hit single, against Lamar on April 10.
• set up the winning run in an April 3 victory at Abilene Christian with a pinch-hit sacrifice bunt.
2020 Season:
• Appeared in four games, starting three in left field, in his redshirt freshman season.
• hit safely in two of his three starts.
• went 1-for-4 with a double in his first career start, the second game of the Feb. 22 doubleheader against North Alabama.
• singled and scored the game-winning run in his NSU debut -- a 4-3 win against North Alabama in game one of the Feb. 22 doubleheader.
2019 Season:
• Redshirted.
High School:
• Two-year letterman for coach Billy Hardin’s Bobcats.
• missed senior season with an injury.
• helped lead Cy Fair to consecutive playoff berths in his sophomore and junior seasons.
• two-year football letterman who helped lead Cy Fair to the state title game as a senior under coach Ed Pustejovsky.
• first-team all-district selection after scoring five touchdowns and gaining 450 all-purpose yards as a slot receiver.
• three-time academic all-district selection graduated with a weighted 6.02 grade point average.
• cum laude graduate was a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Younglife.
