2022 Season:
• Tossed 1 1-3 scoreless innings, striking out two, in a May 10 win against ULM.
• worked three straight scoreless appearances from April 2-10.
• earned the win with three scoreless innings in his first career start against Lamar on March 15.
• worked scoreless appearances in four of his first five appearances of the season.
• picked up the win against Oklahoma on Feb. 25 at Globe Life Field, escaping a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the seventh.
• struck out four in two scoreless innings in an opening-day loss to Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 18.
2021 Season:
• Appeared in nine games out of the NSU bullpen.
• struck out four in three scoreless innings covering two appearances against Stephen F. Austin on May 14 and 16.
• picked up his second win in as many appearances, striking out a career-high seven in a career-long 3 2-3 innings of an 11-inning Game 2 win against McNeese on May 8.
• notched his first career win, working a then-career-long 2 2-3 innings, in a 10-inning with at Abilene Christian on April 3.
• made his season debut against Incarnate Word on March 12, allowing one hit and one run in 2-3 inning.
2020 Season:
• Appeared in three games out of the Northwestern State bullpen.
• worked 1 1-3 scoreless innings of a 4-1 win at Grambling on March 10.
• tied a career high with two scoreless innings of relief in a 7-1 win against Abilene Christian on March 6.
• gave up two runs in one inning of his season debut Feb. 23 against North Alabama.
2019 Season:
• Appeared in three games out of the Northwestern State bullpen.
• tossed two scoreless innings in an 11-0 shutout of Mississippi Valley State in his first career appearance April 2.
• worked a scoreless inning against Sam Houston State on May 16.
2018 Season:
• Appeared in three games in his redshirt freshman season.
• collected his first career hit and drove in his first career run in a 34-0 win against Mississippi Valley State on April 25.
• drew a walk as a pinch hitter in a 21-0 win against Mississippi Valley State on April 24.
• made his Northwestern State debut as a pinch hitter in a 15-3 win at Lamar on April 10.
2017 Season:
• Redshirted after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
High School:
• Three-year letterman for coach Toby Todd’s Vikings.
• helped Airline win 30 games and reach the state quarterfinals as a senior.
• named all-city and district Pitcher of the Year as a senior.
• all-city selection as a junior and senior.
• district Most Valuable Player and honorable mention all-state as a sophomore.
• honorable mention all-district football player for coach Bo Meeks, a former Demon QB.
• member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
• graduated with a 3.94 GPA.

• son of Sally and Russell Taylor, who played basketball at Centenary College.
• graduated with a business administration degree in May and is pursuing a master’s degree in health and human performance.
