2022 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2022 Season:
• Hit safely in a season-long five games from April 24-May 1, going 5-for-15 in that span.
• drove in a pair of runs in an April 26 win at Grambling.
• went 2-for-5 with an RBI as the Demons salvaged a win at Nicholls on April 16.
• scored a run in four straight games from March 23-27.
• went 2-for-3 and scored the game-winning run in a March 26 win at New Orleans.
• knocked in six runs in the Demons' three-game sweep of Alcorn on March 12-13.
• drove in four runs in a Game 1 win against Alcorn on March 12.
• capped NSU's Feb. 19 win against Stephen F. Austin with a two-run home run.
2021 Season:
• Appeared in 49 games, starting each one at shortstop.
• ranked second on the team with 10 multi-hit games.
• went 2-for-4 and scored NSU's lone run in a May 26 Southland Conference Tournament loss at Southeastern Louisiana.
• started a game-tying ninth-inning rally with a leadoff single and the game-winning 11th-inning rally by reaching on an error in a May 8 Game 2 doubleheader win against McNeese.
• drove in the only run of the game for NSU with a sacrifice fly in Game 2 of an April 30 doubleheader at Central Arkansas.
• blasted a grand slam and finished with a career-high five RBIs to cap a Game 2 win against Nicholls on April 24.
• went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a double in a Game 2 loss at Houston Baptist on April 17.
• hit his second triple of the season -- an RBI knock -- in Game 2 of an April 10 doubleheader against Lamar.
• collected a pair of hits, including a double, in a 10-inning April 3 win at Abilene Christian.
• cracked his first career home run in the first game of a doubleheader sweep at Sam Houston on March 20.
• tied the game with a triple and scored the winning run in a 6-5 walk-off victory against Incarnate Word on March 14.
• went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the Game 2 victory at Southern Miss on Feb. 21.
Summer 2020:
• Played for the Mandan Flickertails in the Northwoods League.
2020 Season:
• Started 14 games at shortstop in his first season at the Division I level..
• ranked second on the team in runs scored (12) and third in walks (10).
• had a trio of two-RBI games -- at UL Lafayette (Feb. 26) and vs. Wichita State (Feb. 14, Feb. 16).
• had a pair of two-hit games -- at UL Lafayette (Feb. 26) and vs. North Alabama (Feb. 21).
• hit safely in a season-long six straight games from Feb. 21-March 1.
• went 1-for-3, scoring twice in an 8-3 win against Abilene Christian on March 8.
• doubled in back-to-back games against Eastern Illinois on Feb. 29 and March 1.
• went 5-for-14 with five runs scored in a three-game stretch from Feb. 21-26.
• delivered a go-ahead, two-run fielder's choice in a 3-2 win against Wichita State on Feb. 16.
• made his NSU debut against Wichita State on Feb. 14, knocking a two-run single in the seventh inning of the Demons' 11-0 win.
Prior to NSU:
• Played two seasons at Panola College..
• batted .333 with 13 doubles, three home runs and 28 RBIs as a sophomore.
• posted a .411 on-base percentage, drawing more walks than strikeouts, and stole 11 bases in 13 attempts.
• batted .306 with 11 doubles, three home runs and 28 RBIs as a freshman.
• swiped 15 bases in 18 tries.
High School:
• Three-year letterman at Dutchtown High School for coach Chris Shexnaydre’s Griffins.
• named first-team all-district as a senior and second-team all-district as a junior.
