2006 Season (Freshman): Went 0-12 in singles, playing at the No. 6 spot...went 0-12 in doubles at the No. 3 positon with partner Maria Alcantra.

Previous to NSU: Grimes attended Aulpher HS, where she managed the wrestling team for four years...she played tennis, but not for Sulpher High School...she finished with a 3.92 grade point average...was a member of the Key Club, Student Council, GPA Club and the Sergeant at Arms for the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Grimes is majoring in Health and Human Performance with plans to become a physical therapist...in the Spring, started for the NSU Crew team...only daughter of R.J. and Amy Grimes...father is a salesman and mother is a secretary...has two brothers, Andy and John....current carrying a 3.83 grade point average...hopes to find a job with a professional sports team.
