2016 Outdoor Season: Participated in 10 meets in sprints and relays … shined in the individual events, as she had four top-three finishes in the 100m, including a win in the SLC Outdoor Championships (11.44), which qualified her for the NCAA East Prelims where she finished 37th (11.82) … was excellent in the 200 as well with four top-threes, winning the SLC Outdoor Championships (23.63) … qualified for the NCAA East Preliminaries where she finished 28th (23.73) … teamed up in the 4x100 relay to the tune of four top-two finishes, highlighted by a win in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (45.79) … qualified for the SLC Outdoor Championships, where they combined for a second overall finish (45.90).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in four meets in sprints and relays … qualified for the SLC Indoor Championships in the 60, 200, and 4x400 relays, where she finished ninth (7.69), 12th (24.79) and 8th (3:52.54) respectively.
2015 Outdoor Season: Participated in seven meets in sprints and relays… had eight top-five finishes including first place in the 200 at the Demon Triangular Invite… in the 100, best performance of 11.85 at LSU Alumni Gold ranked 10th in the SLC… best performance in the 200 was 24.31 at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational ranked 13th in the SLC… 4x100 relay top performance with T. Holt, B. Payton, and D. Jones was at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational with a time of 46.19… part of the 1:43.93 relay team at MSU Cowboy Relays… in the 4x400 ran 3:57.08 with De’Shalyn Jones, Braneshia Payton, and Keshira McKnight.
2015 Indoor Season: Participated in sprints and relays at three meets… best time of 7.73 in the 60 and 25.02 in the 200 at the SLC Indoor Championships… ran with M. Morton, D. Jones and B. Payton in the 4x400 at the SLC Indoor Championships with a time of 3:54.67… SLC ranked 13th in the 60m and 12th in the 200m in the SLC.
Before NSU: Attended Southwestern Christian College… competed in track and field and volleyball at SWCC… ran a time of 11.80 at nationals in the 200 in 2013.
High School: Attended Moore’s Island All Age School in the Bahamas... as a senior in 2012 she placed second overall in the 4x100 with a time of 49.18… had a personal best in the 100 during her senior season with a time of 12.10.
Personal: Daughter of Betty Johnson, step-father Nelson Johnson and the late James McBride… born Oct. 14, 1994… has three brothers, Corderro, Frisco, and Anthony… has two sisters, Felicia and Lakeisha... majoring in psychology… if unable to pursue a professional track career, plans to attend graduate school after graduating from NSU.
