2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in both the shot put and hammer throw during the season across six meets…earned three eighth place finishes in her three competitions in the shot put event…best mark in the event came at the SFA Skecher’s Performance Carl Knight Invitational (40-7)…earned three top-10 finishes in the hammer throw including a silver spot at the ULM Warhawk Invitational (153-3), her second best throw of the season…took sixth at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (152-3) and eighth at the MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge (151-2 ½)…best mark of the year came in a new career best at the SLC Outdoor Championship where she placed 14
th overall with a throw of 156-11 (47.84m)
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in the shot put and weight throw at five meets during the season…earned two results in the shot put with marks of 38-5 ½” (11.72m) at the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational and 36-10 ½” (11.24m) at the SLC Indoor Championships…had three top-10 finishes in the weight throw during the season…best throw came in the SLC Indoor Championships (56-1) where she took seventh overall…also placed seventh at the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational (50-4) with final top-10 result coming in the Pittsburg State Invitational (54-7 ½)
2017 Outdoor Season: Competed in eight meets in the
shotput and hammer throw… participated in the SLC Outdoor Championships where she placed eighth in the
shotput (43 1/2) and a ninth in the hammer throw (148-7)… had a top-notch performance at the TCU Invitational where she placed fifth in the
shotput (44-11 1/2) for a personal record and placed seventh in the hammer throw (152-9) for a team season-best record… maintained her discus record (117-5 3/4) and hammer throw record (152-10).
2017 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets in the
shotput and weight throw events… participated in the SLC Indoor Championships earning fourth place in the weight throw (55-10 1/2) and 11
th place in the
shotput (42-2 3/4)… placed in the top-four in four events including a win at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic in the weight throw (60-6 3/4) which resulted in a team season-best, a personal record and a third place stamp on the Lady Demon Top 5 list… maintained her personal record in the
shotput (43-9 3/4).
2016 Outdoor Season: Participated in the shot put and hammer throw in seven meets… had four
top-10s in the shot put, including third at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (43-01.75)… qualified for the SLC Outdoor Championships, where she finished 14
th (39-07.75)… also had four
top-10s in the hammer throw, including seventh in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (152-07.00)… qualified for the SLC Outdoor Championships, where she claimed 13
th overall (146-03.00).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in the shot put and weight throw in five meets… had four
top-10s in the shot put, including second (43-05.00) at the
MSSU Lion Open… qualified for the SLC Indoor Championships, where she claimed eighth overall (43-09.75)… also had four
top-10s in the weight throw, including fourth in the LSU Bayou Bengal (53-03.50)… qualified for the SLC Indoor Championships, where she took seventh overall (53-04.25).
2015 Outdoor Season: Participated in the shot, discus and hammer throws at eight meets… had three top-five finishes… best performance in the shot was a 44-2 throw at SFA

2015 Indoor Season: Participated in shot and weight throws in three meets… best performances was at the SLC Indoor Championships was 42-2.75 shot put and 45-3.5 in the weight throw… SLC ranked
16th in the shot and
18th in the weight.
High School: Lettered in volleyball for four years, basketball for three years, and track and field for four years... state champion in the outdoor shot put and discus for Class 2A in sophomore year... as a junior, was a state champion in the outdoor shot put and discus for 2A… as a senior was the 3A indoor state champion for shot put and the outdoor state champion for shot put... best shot put was her senior year with a mark of 41-6 and a distance of 122-5 in the discus… maintained a 3.4 GPA in high school.
Personal: Daughter of Greta Francis and Curley Lyons... born Oct. 13, 1995… has four brothers: Ricardo Francis,
Demarcus Gibson, Bryan Lyons, and Curley Lyons Jr. ... has one sister, Faye Lyons… majoring in business administration and plans to attend graduate school … aspires to become a marketing research analyst.
