Junior Season (2012): Appeared in 48 games, starting 41…had 113 at-bats with 22 hits, including two doubles and 15 RIB…on the mound she went 8-13…faced 526 batters, striking out 85 in 131.2 innings…posted a 3.3 ERA…earned All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention…threw for four innings against Grambling, giving up one run on one hit and struck out four…struck out 10 in two-hit shutout over ULM in Lady Demon Classic…notched a crucial two-run homer in shutout over defending 2011 SLC champs TAMCCU…had two hits against Jackson State for first multi-hit game of the season…picked up win over Jackson State after striking out seven batters in six innings…allowed just one hit and struck out eight in win over SFA…recorded third complete-game shutout of the season when she struck out eight and walked none in win over Louisiana Tech…pitched a 10-inning crusade, striking out four in win over Southeastern…earned a win as she held Nicholls from running past second base, notching her fourth complete-game shutout of the season.


2011 Season: Proved to be a dual threat for NSU opponents on both sides of the field…closed out season as a top 10 pitcher in the conference with a 2.23 ERA, 116 strikeouts and a SLC top 10 opponent batting average of .224…struck out nine to hold off Tenn. Tech, 2-1…fanned a season-high 11 batters, leaving six on base in a tight 1-0 win over Northern Iowa...hammered away at the plate to earn a team-leading .298 batting average, .507 slugging, eight homers (seventh, SLC), and 37 RBI (fifth, SLC)…notched ten multi-hit with two 3-hitters and multi-RBI games, including two 3-RBI efforts and two 4-RBI games…dominated over Centenary in the 13-2 triumph, as she went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI, including a three-run homer…had two homers versus IUPUI and East Tenn. State…slammed a walk-off single to cap a 2-for-4, two-RBI performance at the plate and lead NSU to a 3-2 victory over Southeastern Louisiana...delivered the game-winning RBI single in the top of the seventh to lift NSU over UCA, 3-2…appeared in 54 games...earned 2011 Southland Conference Softball All-Academic Team and 2011 All-Louisiana Collegiate Softball Team.

 

2010 Season: Proved to be a great addition to pitching rotation as she collected 13 wins and struck out 117 batters in 129 innings…struck out seven and allowed just one run against Texas-San Antonio…fanned five batters and allowed six hits at Texas State, one of the top teams in the conference…picked up SLC Pitcher of the Week honors (Feb. 23) after her performance in the South Alabama Invitational, pitching 17 innings producing two complete games and a shutout while walking just three batters and striking out 19…wrapped up her freshman campaign with nine complete games and a 3.26 earned run average, lowest on the team…stepped up to bat 67 times earing a .209 average including three doubles and one homer. 
 

At Celina HS: Lettered in volleyball for three years and in softball for four years while attending Pilot Point HS, Aubrey HS, and Celina HS…as a freshman at Pilot Point, her volleyball team participated in the regional tournament while the softball team was bi-district champions…she earned all-district and all-area Newcomer of the Year for softball…as a sophomore, she played volleyball for Pilot Point and softball for Aubrey…volleyball finished as area champion...earned all-area setter of the year…softball team at Aubrey was state runner-up...she earned all-district defensive MVP and all-area offensive Player of the Year…as a junior, the Aubrey softball team reached the Regional Finals...she earned all-district co-MVP and all-area first team…as a senior, Kylie played at Celina HS…volleyball earned a playoff appearance for the first time in school history...she earned all-district first team...softball reached the state finals...earned all-district MVP and TGCA 1A-3A Player of the Year…she was a member of the Student Council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)…graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.
 

Personal File: Born Kylie Nicole Roos on March 10, 1991…daughter of Judy and Peter Roos…mother is a teacher and a coach and her father is a contractor… the oldest of four: she has one brother, Jordan, and two twin sisters, Lexie and Laney…brother is a three-time Texas state champion shot putter and a discus champion, who now plays football and Track and Field at Purdue University…member of Tau Alpha…her life’s ambition is to move back to Texas, start a family, own a pug, get over her fear of flying so she can travel the world, and have as much fun as possible.
