Junior Season (2014): Started and played in all 52 games including 50 as designated player for NSU … cleanup hitter who ranked second on team inbatting average (.307) and RBIs (38) and first in home runs (14), total bases (98) and hit by pitch (12) … tied for team lead with 11 multiple-RBI games … posted 12 multi-hit games … reached base in 13 consecutive games … drove in combined eight runs after going 6-for-7 in two games against Middle Tennessee State.
Junior Accolades: Southland Conference All-Tournament Third Team selection... LSWA 2014 All Louisiana Collegiate Softball Team, designated player, second team selection … named to Spring SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.


Sophomore Season (2013): Appeared in 54 games, starting 52 at designated player and clean-up hitter…led the conference in homers and broke into NSU individual season record book, ranking thrid  for home runs (14) and fourth slugging percentage (.638)...currently tied for fifth in career HRs (22)... second on team with 45 RBI…hit safely in 13 straight games from 2/16 at Miss. State to 3/5 vs. Alcorn…notched five RBI in a single game three times at Alcorn, AMCC and at SFA… put the ball into play three times in a single contest on three different occasions (at Alcorn, Lamar and UCA)…recorded career-high two homers in a single game against AMCC…her RBI single in the first inning was all NSU needed to defeat SHSU in first game of conference tournament…stepped up during NCAA regionals to fill position at third base for injured starter…earned All-Southland Conference Second Team and SLC All-Tournament team honors.
Sophomore Accolades: Earned All-Southland Conference Second Team and SLC All-Tournament team honors… LSWA All-Louisiana Collegiate Softball Team, first team selection.

Freshman Season (2012): Appeared in all 50 games, starting 43…led the team with eight home runs including two in the season finale against North Texas…stepped up to bat 120 times notching 26 RBI and crossing the plate 16 times…led the team in multiple RBI per game with seven…named SLC Hitter of the Week (3/12)…cracked a two-run homer to lift NSU over UCA…sent the ball over center-field wall for a grand slam in 8-0 win over SFA…snuck a homer inside the foul pole to aid in win over Louisiana Tech…earned LSWA All-Louisiana Collegiate Softball Second Team honors.

At Cy-Fair HS: Selected all-state first team in each of her last two years and all-district first team four consecutive years as a catcher and designated player along with a co-MVP award as a senior….as a senior, Cassandra led her team to the district title along with the regional quarterfinals….she capped her high school career with three regional quarterfinals appearances, including her sophomore season where she finished as the RBI leader of the greater Houston area…selected to the Key Club and participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Student Council….graduated in 2011.

Personal File: Born May 31, 1993 as the only child to Clayton and Sylvia….mother works in medical billing and father is a truck driver….majoring in psychology….wants to become a school counselor and coach at the high school level…her life’s ambition is to help people get better every day.
