Junior Season (2013): Started all 55 contests, finished the season second in batting average hitting .347…notched 61 hits and led with 46 RBI…led the conference with 20 doubles, landing second in NSU individual season record book, just two-shy of first…finished season ranked 8th nationally in doubles per game (.36)…her 46 RBI is also marked as a season record, ranking third…ranks third all-time with 999 putouts in three seasons, including 370 this year…hit safely in 12 straight games beginning on 2/20 at Alcorn and ending on 3/5 at Southern… earned All-Southland First Team honors and SLC Hitter of the Week on 3/5.
Sophomore Season (2012): Started 44 contests…had 131 at-bats notching 40 hits, including seven doubles and six homers…second on the team in RBI with 24…tied for second in slugging percentage with .496…earned All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention…named to LSWA All-Louisiana Collegiate Softball Honorable Mention Team…went three-for-three against Southern with three RBI and two runs scored…her two-run home run outings were enough to claim victories over Louisiana Tech and Texas Arlington…played crucial role in teams’ first triple play of the season also against UTA…cranked out a three-run homer against North Texas…had a 10th inning walkoff homer to defeat Southeastern.
2011 Season: Brianna became a major spark for NSU while working at first base through all 57 games….batted .237 and .329 slugging with eight multi-hit games and two home runs including a two-run homer in the season finale against the 2011 SLC champions, Texas State and Centenary ….recorded 2-for-3 performances in mulitiple games with a double and an RBI single vs. IUPUI on Feb. 26 and Texas-San Antonio on March 5….notched a team second-best 22 RBIs, including six multi-RBI games …. Brianna produced well on the defensive side as well, capturing only four errors and a .990 fielding percentage.
At Rowlett HS: Four year letterman in softball…led team to multiple championship titles including three Region 11 Bi-District, including a co-championship during freshman season, two Region 11 Area titles, and a Class 5A Region 11 crown…team made playoff appearance three out of four years in high school…Brianna was selected as the Lady Eagles’ Offensive Player of the Year in her freshman season and Most Valuable Player the following three years …Received multiple district awards including Newcomer of the Year, two-time Pitcher of the Year, and Most Valuable Player…named ESPN Rise Texas State Athlete of the Week May 28, 2010…initiated to the National Honor Society and participated in Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)…earned Academic Excellence honors 2007 through 2010…graduated May 2010 with a 3.5 G.P.A.
