NATCHITOCHES — The Northwestern State Lady Demons' women's tennis home opener against Jackson State, originally scheduled for Monday, has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.

The match is now being played Thursday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex.

NSU enters the match with a 1–1 record, opening the spring slate with a road loss to No. 5 LSU before bouncing back with a 6–1 victory over Xavier (La.) the following day.

The rescheduling marks the second weather-related adjustment for the Lady Demons early in the season. NSU's road match at UL Lafayette was previously pushed back to March 11 at 4:45 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Additionally, the scheduled matchup between Lamar and Jackson State in Natchitoches has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m., as weather conditions continue to impact the week's schedule.
