LAFAYETTE — The Northwestern State Lady Demons' women's tennis match against UL Lafayette, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.

The match has been rescheduled for March 11 at 4:45 p.m. in Lafayette.

NSU (1-1) is coming off a split opening weekend in Baton Rouge, where the Lady Demons faced No. 5 LSU before rebounding with a 6–1 victory over Xavier (La.) this past Sunday.

The win over Xavier marked the team's first victory of the 2026 spring season and showcased strong performances throughout the lineup.

The Lady Demons are continuing to monitor upcoming schedule adjustments, including potential changes to matches involving Jackson State and Lamar, as weather conditions remain a factor.
