NATCHITOCHES—There has been a change in the Northwestern State schedule.

Due to a cancellation of Saturday's game against Champion Christian, the Demons (1-2) are now playing Ecclesia College on Friday as the back half of a doubleheader with the men's team.

Friday's home opener for the women will take place at approximately 2 p.m.

NSU aims to continue to grow following a trip to the Midwest that saw the Demons win at Wichita State, its first road victory over an AAC opponent, as well as sophomore forward Vernell Atamah taking home the Southland Conference Player of the Week.
