NATCHITOCHES—New Northwestern State head women's basketball coach Alan Frey announced the signing of 11 newcomers to begin his first recruiting class, he announced Wednesday.

The class for 2026-27 includes eight transfers and three high school signees.

Joining NSU for this season are KP Parr (Texas State), Karma Wynn (Wallace State CC), Becca Milon (Monmouth), Erica Carr (San Diego), Delora Pricop (Hutchinson CC), India McMahon (Nicholls), Chloe Donnell (South Alabama) and Yaly Ben Harush (Northeastern JC), as well as freshmen Stella Allison, Val Montero and Chiara Pavitsits.

"Integrating 11 new faces is always a journey," Frey said. "But their chemistry and willingness to learn from our veterans has been outstanding. This group is actively helping us elevate our culture, and we can't wait to get on the court and show our fans what they are capable of."

High School: All-State player all four seasons for French Settlement High … averaged 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game, which earned her All-State First Team and district MVP, the final of four straight … Division II Non-Select State Championship Game Outstanding Player … LHSAA All Tournament Team MOP … First Team All-District and First Team All-Parish final three seasons, member of All-Metro Team as a and Livingston Parish MVP as a senior … Livingston Parish Small School Fab Five all four seasons … averaged 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals per game as a junior … averaged 18 points and four assists per game as a sophomore … averaged 17 points per game as a freshman … Livingston Parish First Team in her first year.
Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and Dennis Allison … has three brothers, Gannon, Edward and Maxwell … Maxwell is a marine … sports recreation and management major who would like to become a high-level Division I or WNBA assistant coach, specializing in player development.

Erica Carr, C, Jr., 6-3, Grand Prairie, Texas (South Grand Prairie HS/San Diego)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from San Diego, where she played 15 games in her two seasons … scored eight points in 24 minutes in the season opener as a sophomore against Bethesda (Calif.) … recorded eight points and six rebounds as a freshman in the victory over La Sierra … also tallied five points and six rebounds against CSUN as a freshman and four points each against Biola and Santa Clara.
High School: First 6A State Championship appearance in Texas in 2024, as well as the 6A Regional Champions and District 6A championship … All-First Team as a senior … District 6A championship, First Team All-District and team's leading rebounder as a junior … led team to a bi-district 6A championship as a sophomore … 2024 McDonald's All-American nominee … 2022 and 2023 NBA Academy  Games competitor … 2023 Basketball Without Borders Global participant … 2022 Basketball Without Borders America player … 2019 Junior NBA Global Championship participant.

Chloe Donnell, G, So., 5-8, Boerne, Texas (Boerne HS/South Alabama)
Prior to NSU: Spent her first season at South Alabama … saw action in 11 games, averaging 0.7 points per game … scored four points, all on free throws, in the blowout win over Florida A&M … collected a basket in games against Akron and UAB.
High School: Helped lead Boerne (Texas) High to 118 wins in her four seasons, including three trips to the state semifinals … was named All-State her final two seasons and all-district in all four … earned tips to a pair of all-star games following her senior season … finished her career with 1142 points, 267 rebounds, 234 assists and 299 steals … made the all-state tournament team as a freshman.
Personal: Daughter of Michelle and Randy Donnell … has one brother, Greyson, and one sister, Tayler Zepka … father was an all-conference defensive back at Texas A&M-Kingsville … Grayson plays football at Louisiana Christian … mother was the rodeo queen of San Antonio ... grandma, Sandra Donnell played basketball at Howard Junior College rand grandfather James Donnell was a college baseball player … majoring in nursing/business is to become a successful nurse and make a difference in the process.

Yaly Ben Harush, G, Jr., 5-9, Tel Aviv, Israel (Kiryat Sharet HS/New Orleans/Northeastern JC)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from Northeastern Junior College … averaged 9.6 points per game on 37.6 percent shooting … also averaged 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest … poured in a career-high 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting against Northwest College as a sophomore, including making seven 3-pointers … scored 20 points in a win over Ranger College … played in nine contests as a freshman, averaging 6.9 points per contest, shooting 38.9 percent from deep … scored in double figures three times as a freshman, including scoring 15 against Casper College … started her career at New Orleans, where she redshirted.
High School: Competed for Kiryat Sharet High in her home country of Israel … averaged 14 points, five assists and five rebounds per game over final two seasons … career bests of 30 points and eight made three-pointers … shot 40 percent from 3-point range.

India McMahon, G, Jr., 5-11, Beaumont, Texas (Hardin-Jefferson HS/Angelina College/Nicholls)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from fellow Southland Conference school Nicholls, where she played four games, averaging 3.3 points per game … scored a season-high six points against Florida State … added five points against UTEP and two in the home game against UIW … also played for Angelina College, where she played in 58 games, starting 48 of them … averaged 7.5 points per game before having a breakout season of 17.1 points per game as a sophomore … poured in a career-high 34 points against Blinn College in her last game with the Lady Roadrunners, making 11-of-19 shots from the field, including 5-of-6 from deep … had eight games with at least 20 points as a sophomore and scored in double figures in 23 of the 26 games … recorded a pair of double-doubles as a sophomore (20p/13r vs. Kilgore and 26p/10r vs. Temple College) … hauled down a career-high 16 rebounds as a freshman in the win over LSU-Eunice.
High School: Helped lead Hardin Jefferson High to 125 wins during her four seasons, including two state runner-up finishes … also helped guide her school to a pair of regional championships as well … led her team in scoring, averaging 17.4 points per game, earning First Team All-District as a senior and a spot on the Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold Team, solidifying her spot as one of the premier players in the entire Southeast Texas region … also competed in track.

Becca Milon, F, Jr., 5-11, Nepean, Ontario, Canada (Cairine Wilson Secondary School/ Monmouth)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from Monmouth, where she made eight appearances for the Hawks in two seasons … averaged 0.5 points and 0.9 rebounds per game, scoring her first career basket at Penn State and made her first 3-pointer in the win vs. Northeastern as a freshman … also grabbed two rebounds in a career-high 21 minutes against PSU.
High School: Appeared in 15 regular season games with her club team Capital Courts Academy … averaged over six points per contest while shooting 42 percent from the field … put up a career high 18 points against Fort Erie International Academy during her senior year … recorded five blocks versus Niagara Prep and three against Crestwood Preparatory College.
Personal: Daughter of Marie Michelle Lubin and Michelet Milon … has one brother (Emanuel) and one sister (Leah) …. brother plays basketball at Carleton University in Canada … kinesiology major who plans to play professional basketball after graduation before becoming a physical therapist.

Val Montero, G, Fr., 5-7, Venezuela (IES Tarahales/Southeastern Prep (Fla.) Academy)
High School: Played for her home country in Venezuela as well as playing in the states for Southeastern Prep Academy in Florida ... competed for Venezuela at the AmeriCup South American qualifiers, where she scored two points in the 62-51 win over Chile ... competed at the BWB Americas 2024, where she played in six games and averaged 1.8 points per game ... also competed at the South American U17 Women's Championship in 2023, averaging five points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
Personal: Native of Venezuela, which she competes nationally for.

KP Parr, G, Jr., 5-4, Waco, Texas (La Vega HS/Wichita State/Texas State)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from Texas State, where she was third on the team in minutes played … led the Bobcats in assists with 95 … averaged 4.8 points and three rebounds per game … second on the team with 43 steals … posted a season-high 15 points with six assists against South Alabama … dished out a season-high eight assists against both UL Lafayette and Troy … also played for Wichita State, where she played in all 32 games … second on team in assists (61) and tied for tops on the Shockers in steals (36) … averaged 3.5 points per game and scored a season-high 13 points against Missouri State.
High School: Led Waco La Vega High to 105 wins in her last three seasons, including a pair of state championships … averaged double figures in all four seasons, including 12.8 points per game as a senior … added four rebounds, five assists and three steals as a senior … Super Centex and the 4A Player of the Year as both a junior and senior … 4A All-State Team, 4A All-Region Team and First Team Super Centex all four seasons … District Offensive MVP as a sophomore and District MVP as a freshman … also excelled in track and field, earning second place at the Texas State 4A in the 4x200 Relay and third at State as a triple jumper.

Chiara Pavitsits, G/F, Fr., 5-11, Eisenstadt, Austria (BG BRG BORG Eisenstadt Kurzweise)
High School: Went to high school at BG BRG BORG Eisenstadt Kurzwiese in her home country of Austria … played for the Basket Flames in 2025-26 in Bundesliga, the highest league in Austria called … won a championship for the Emperors as well as a senior … played for the 3x3 National Team in U17 and U21 …. played for the Austrian National Team U18 5x5 in 2023.
 
Personal: Daughter of Alexandra and Peter Pavitsits … has a brother (Clemens) and sister (Caroline) … sport science major who hopes to play professionally overseas following graduation.

Delora Pricop, F, Jr., 6-3, Satu-Mare, Romania (Vincennes/Hutchinson CC)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from Hutchinson CC, where she averaged 4.9 points per game in 32 games … shot 45.2 percent from the field, including 35.1 percent from deep … scored 15.9 points per 40 minutes … also competed for Vincennes University as a freshman … recorded 15.4 points and 11 rebounds per game on 49.2 percent shooting from the field, leading her team to the Region 24 semifinals … Pricop had 10 games with at least 20 points, including a high of 28 in a dominant victory over Shawnee CC … also grabbed 17 rebounds in that game … had 18 double digit rebound games, including a season-high 21 against Wabash Valley College.
High School: Competed for the Sports High School of Brasov in her home country of Romania.
Personal: Daughter of Adriana and Adrian Pricop … has one sister, Deona … mother played and coached the Romanian National Team … father coached the Romanian team for the Olympics … sister is competing in the European Universities Games … psychology major who hopes to play basketball professionally following graduation.

Karma Wynn, G, So., 5-4, Birmingham, Ala. (Pelham HS/Tulane/Wallace State CC)
Prior to NSU: Transfer from Tulane … also played at Wallace State CC, where she averaged 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game … scored a high of nine points in a dominant win over Community Christian College Georgia … posted seven points in a blowout win over Southern Crescent Technical College … hauled down 20 rebounds in her final three games of the season.
High School: Competed for Pelham (Ala.) High … first Pelham girls' basketball player to ever commit to play Division I basketball.... averaged 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game as a junior in 2022-23 ...  helped Pelham reach the Elite Eight in the 6A state playoffs ... Led Pelham to the Final Four as sophomore and Sweet 16 as a freshman.
Personal: Daughter of Tracie and Anthony Wynn … has two brothers (Santana and Mikiya) and two sisters (Iyana and Jaslyn) … general studies major who would like to join the FBI following graduation.
