"It's great to be back on the court again and start off our season," head coach
Jonas Brobeck said. "The girls fought hard today and congratulations to a very good TCU team.
"The Lady Demons gave away important points due to hesitation on the court. You get punished when you do that against a good team."
TCU posted five straight set wins in singles. TCU's Mercedes Aristegui (No.1) and Martins (No.3) scored singles points against
Ayu Ishibashi (6-2, 6-0) and Wise (6-2, 6-2), respectively.
Brobeck wants the Lady Demons to focus on the positives that came from each court and continue building their strengths ahead of their next match.
NSU is back at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex for the first time this season Jan. 28 when the Lady Demons play Xavier at 1 p.m.
