NATCHITOCHES – The final two games of the Northwestern State softball regular season have been moved to Sunday in a noon doubleheader against Central Arkansas.
Senior Day festivities will take place between games honoring seniors
Mikayla Brown,
Kaylee Isenburg and
Kayla Roquemore.
NSU (27-24, 14-11 Southland Conference) will be either the No. 6 or No. 7 seed in the Southland Conference Tournament based on Sunday's results. The tournament begins Tuesday at Lady Demon Diamond.
To earn the No. 6 seed, the Lady Demons will need to win at least one game Sunday and finish with more SLC wins than Lamar (23-32, 14-12 SLC). Lamar dropped two games to McNeese on Friday with one remaining.
The No. 6 and No. 7 seeds will play each other in a single-elimination game.
