NATCHITOCHES -- Spots are still available for the annual Northwestern State Softball Auction on Saturday being held at the Knights of Columbus.
 
Fans can enjoy dinner and an auction with single tickets for $25 and a VIP table for $200. The event kicks off at 6 p.m.
 
The team, which includes the 2015 Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year (Mikayla Brown) and the reigning All-Louisiana Freshman of the Year (Cayla Jones), will be introduced and help haul your auction winnings to your vehicle.

All proceeds benefit the Lady Demon softball program, which begins its season Feb. 8 at the Texas Classic.
 
An action-packed home schedule includes the Lady Demon Classic (Feb. 22-24), an afternoon game against LSU (March 5) and the Southland Conference Tournament (May 7-10).
