DALLAS – Unbeaten SMU provides a stiff challenge Monday evening for the young Northwestern State Lady Demon tennis team in a 5 p.m. match at the Ann and Brad Brookshire Family Pavilion.
The Mustangs are 4-0 after a 6-1 win Sunday over Montana State and a shutout victory earlier last week over Southland Conference member Sam Houston State.
The Lady Demons dropped their season opener Friday at Louisiana Tech by a 6-1 margin.
Polina Mutel picked up NSU's point with a No. 3 singles win Friday.
After Monday's match, the Lady Demons open their home schedule Wednesday at 1:30 against UL Monroe at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex.
