NATCHITOCHES – An important matchup early in Northwestern State's bid to defend its Southland Conference women's tennis match comes against unbeaten Abilene Christian Sunday at noon at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex.
 
The Lady Demons (7-6, 3-0) have won six straight matches. The Wildcats are unbeaten at 5-0 overall, 2-0 in the Southland.
 
If weather prevents Sunday's competition, it could be played Monday at 1.
