NATCHITOCHES – Senior Andrea Nedorostova will make her final homecourt appearances at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex this weekend as the Northwestern State tennis team takes on Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Nicholls State on Sunday at 12 o'clock.

The Lady Demons (9-5 overall, 4-1 Southland Conference) enter the weekend tied for second in the conference standings. They most recently defeated Stephen F. Austin 4-3 last Friday.

SLU (15-2, 5-1) is atop the Southland standings with just one conference loss. The Lady Lions took down Sam Houston State 4-3 last weekend and play SFA on Friday afternoon.

Nicholls State goes into the weekend at 8-11 overall and 1-4 in SLC action. The Colonels fell to Arkansas State 5-2 last Saturday.

Nedorosotva has had a phenomenal career at NSU and will finish as one of the winningest players in the program's history. The Brno, Czech Republic native ranks second all-time in the career doubles wins ledger at NSU with 65 victories and is tied for fifth in the all-time singles wins record book with 56 wins.

She needs just three more doubles wins to become the winningest doubles player in NSU history.

This season, Nedorostova has teamed up with sophomore Tatiana Larina to compile a team-best record of 12-2 record at the No. 1 position.

Junior Polina Konop and freshman Natalya Krutova lead the Lady Demons in singles action with each sporting 11-3 records at the No. 1-2 and No. 3 spots, respectively.

The Lady Demons travel to Lamar and McNeese State next weekend for their final two matches of the regular season.
