NATCHITOCHES – After an impressive win last weekend, the Northwestern State women's tennis team continues its three-match home swing, playing host to Southern Mississippi on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex.
The Lady Demons (1-1) are coming off a 6-1 win against Division II powerhouse and future Southland Conference opponent Abilene Christian.
The USM Golden Eagles enter the match 0-3, most recently falling to South Alabama 6-1 last Sunday.

Polina Konop and freshman
Natalya Krutova lead the NSU squad with each sporting 2-0 singles records as well as a 2-0 doubles record at the No. 2 position.
Senior captain
Andrea Nedorostova and sophomore
Tatiana Larina are also 2-0 in doubles play at the No. 1 spot. Nedorostova currently ranks sixth all-time at NSU for career doubles wins with a 56-7 record.

The Lady Demons host Louisiana Tech on Sunday afternoon. The match is slated to begin at two o'clock.
