JACKSON, Miss. – Northwestern State faces one of the more talented teams in the Southeastern Conference Thursday night when the Demons put a three-game win streak on the line in a 7 p.m. contest against No. 18 Mississippi State.

The Bulldogs are 11-1 with impressive wins over Texas A&M (69-60), Arizona (67-57) and West Virginia (75-62) included in their 10 straight victories since a 68-58 loss at home to Akron on Nov. 9.

Their free throw aim has improved in the last three games, when NSU has dropped in 66 percent after making only 58 percent beforehand.
