NATCHITOCHES – Addison Patterson's lone basketball season at Northwestern State has one final accolade to add to it.

Patterson capped his 2024-25 season with a third-team selection on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association's All-Louisiana Men's Basketball Team that was announced Sunday night. The team was selected by a vote of statewide sports information directors and media personnel.

A 6-foot-7, 205-pound guard/forward from Missassauga, Ontario, Canada, Patterson led the Demons in scoring at 13 points per game en route to earning second-team All-Southland Conference honors.

Patterson tallied a team-leading five double-doubles while being named Southland Conference Player of the Week on Jan. 27 after posting back-to-back double-doubles in wins against Stephen F. Austin and New Orleans.

Patterson's top-scoring game came against Southern-New Orleans when he scored 33 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a Dec. 20 win. That was one of Patterson's 21 double-figure-scoring outputs on the season.
