Coach Graf on Carmen: "Carmen has such a strong family history with Northwestern basketball, from her mom starring as a Lady Demon herself, to her brother hitting the winning basket to put NSU men's basketball on top of Iowa in the NCAA Tournament. Carmen is the first one in the gym for practice and the last to leave. She continues to improve her handles, shooting, and her ability to score off the dribble."

High School: Two-time all-district and all-parish honors (sophomore, junior) and all-district honorable mention (freshman)... team MVP as a sophomore and junior... graduated with a 3.8 GPA at Lakeside High, graduating fifth in her class... Senior Class Vice President and a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Carmen Shanise Wallace on October 16, 1987... daughter of Kenneth and Sharon Wallace... three brothers, Kenneth (25), Jermaine (23) and Armon (15), and two sisters, Nadine (17) and Arnedia (13)... mother played basketball for the Lady Demons while brother, Jermaine, became a NSU hero when his three-pointer with 0.5 second remaining lifted the Demons to a 64-63 win over Iowa in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Basketball Tournament.
