Northwestern State University of Louisana

Junior (2007-08):  Led the team and ranked fourth in the conference in 3-point shooting with a 37.8 percentage... second on the team with 34 treys made... averaged 6.8 points and 2.3 rebounds for the season... helped the Lady Demons tie a school record with 14 3-pointers against Jackson State after draining 4 of 5 from long range... scored in double-digits eight times with a high of 16 points at Alcorn State on Dec. 18... from Dec. 8 to Dec. 20, a stretch of four games, knocked down 14 of 22 from long range... averaged 4.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in conference games only... played in 29 games with 15 starts.

Prior to NSU:  Ranked second in the nation in scoring with a 23.5 ppg average in the Division II junior college ranks as a member of LSU-Eunice, where she earned first team All-Region honors... in two seasons at LSUE, she averaged 21.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game and was twice named the NJCAA Division II player of the week... teams finished 25-6 her sophomore season and 15-15 as a freshman.

High School:  An all-state and all-district performer for Ville Platte High School where she averaged just over 20 points a game... as a senior, her team finished 29-2... also lettered in softball.

Personal:  Born Renotta K. Edwards on July 22, 1987... daughter of Raynard and Hilda Edwards... two sisters, Courtney Edwards (25) and Anitra Jack (32)... majoring in history at NSU and has plans to teach that subjuct in high school.
