2010 Indoor Season: A member of the distance medley relay team that placed 10th at the SLC Indoor Championships with a time of 13:07.32.

2009 Cross Country: Place in the top 10 in every meet during the cross country season with first place finishes at the NSU and Centenary Invitationals... placed 44th at the SLC Championships.

High School: Lettered all four years in basketball, track and cross-country... Won track district and regional championships before a runner-up finish at state... Made the playoffs in basketball and recorded district, regional and state championships in track as a sophomore... District runner-ups in basketball junior season while winning district and regionals in track... first-team all district in basketball with an All-State honorable mention... Senior year, basketball and cross country district champions... second-team All-District and won the state championship in the one and two mile races... runner-up in the 800m.

Personal: Born Karensa Leigh Ellis March 25, 1989... the daughter of Khristy and Dennis Ellis and has one sister, Kyleigh Ellis... majoring in Health and Exercise Sciences and anticipates graduation in May of 2013... Her post-graduation plans are to become a physical therapist.
