Started every game for the Demons for the second straight season, primarily in the designated offensive player position...led the team with a .327 average, .460 slugging and .858 OPS...hit a team-best four home runs on the season and drove in the second most runs at 28...named conference hitter of the week after a 7-for-11 (.636) weekend at the NHDDC Lady Demon Classic that included two of her home runs for the year and two different 3-for-3 performances at the plate...set a new career high with three runs scored in NSU's win at Memphis (March 18)...scored six runs in three games that weekend at the Memphis Classic...had a 4-for-4 game with two doubles in the series finale at Nicholls (March 25), both new career highs...drove in four runs in the win at UIW (April 14) as part of a 2-for-3 game to set a new career best in RBIs...hit the RBI double that pulled the Demons within a run in the 7th inning of their SLC Tournament loss to Lamar...had at least one hit in six of her final eight games of the season...finished second on the team with 12 multi-hit games, with the only 4-hit game of the season by the Demons, and tied for the most multi-RBI games with seven.

One of three players to start every game on the season...hit .270 on the season with five home runs and 21 RBI...had 10 multi-hit games, fourth most on the team...hit first career triple and home run during the season...first home run came against Grambling in a 2-for-3 game...triple, one of two on the season for the team, came in a 2-for-3 game against Nicholls...only 3-hit game of the year came against St. Thomas (Feb. 26)...drove in three on two different occasions including her 3-run home run against McNeese to help secure the 8-3 win against the Cowgirls...hit a go-ahead solo home run, also against McNeese, in the top of the seventh in the conference tournament.
2021 Season
Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll
Started the final six games of the season with an appearance in 19 total ... had 11 hits in 27 at bats on the season for a .407 average ... hit two doubles in the series against Southeastern and went 5-for-10 that weekend ... went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the Southland Tournament win against Sam Houston ... had four multi-hit games on the year, three coming in the final six games.
2020 Season:
Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
Chaffin made 13 appearances as a pinch runner … scored a run in six different games … 1-1 in stolen bases … run against Northern Illinois tied the game in an eventual 4-3 win … scored a run in NSU’s five-run inning in a 6-5 comeback win vs. Sam Houston State.
High School
Four-time all-district and all-parish honoree who played first two seasons at Benton High and final two at Airline High … hit at least .500 in three seasons highlighted by a .550 as a sophomore … all-state as a senior and three-time All-City performer … made the playoffs all four seasons, including three trips to the state tournament … finished in the semifinals twice and the quarterfinals once …. Helped Airline High to a No. 6 seed as a junior and a No. 2 seed as a senior … participated in National Honors Society, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, First Priority and Ring Staff … graduated third in her class of 440 students.
