2023 Season
Made eight starts and 13 total appearances early in the year before an injury kept her out the remainder of the season...had three hits and scored four runs on the season...hit her first career home run on opening weekend against Sam Houston (Feb. 12) to tie the game at one...had a hit, an RBI, a walk and scored a run against Florida A&M (Feb. 17).

2022 Season
Made 10 starts and 21 appearances in her first season at NSU recording nine hits and five RBI...got a hit in her first collegiate at-bat against...made her first start and drove in her first run against Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 19)...went 2-for-4, her only multi-hit game of the season, with two RBI against HBU (March 25).

High School
Four-year letter winner in softball at Summer Creek for her dad Gabe ... four-time First-Team All-District selection including being named District 21-6A Offensive Player of the Year following her senior season ... holds school record for doubles and RBI in a season ... led the team with a .436 average with a .510 OBP and .759 slugging percentage as a freshman to win the team Silver Slugger Award and repeated the feat as a senior ... won team’s Golden Glove award as sophomore ... named to Academic All-District team in each of her four seasons.

Personal
Daughter of Veronica and Gabe Castillo ... has one younger brother ... nickname is “Rika” or “D” ... cousin Leonel Munoz is on the baseball team at NAIA’s Point Park ... majoring in biology with a forensic science concentration with plans to become a crime scene investigator ... her life’s ambition is to be the best in forensic science and support the legal and justice systems to uphold the law ... also wants to be a productive citizen and role model that helps others in her community.
