NCAA Regional Qualifier, Triple Jump
2013 Season: Outdoor – Registered a season-best triple jump leap of 50-06.25 at the Jim Mize Invitational, winning the event…posted four top-three finishes in the triple jump.
Indoor- Competed in the long jump and triple jump…was the runner-up in the triple jump at the SLC Championships with a personal-best leap of 50-11…registered four top two performances and never placed lower than fourth in the triple jump…recorded a season-best long jump mark of 22-04.50 at the McNeese Indoor, placing eighth.
2012 Season: Outdoor- competed in the long jump and the triple jump…finished eighth at in the triple jump at the SLC Championships with a leap of 48-08.75…took third place at the Southeaster Lions Invitational with a jump of 45-05.25.
Indoor- Finished fifth in the triple jump at the LSU Twilight meet with his only 50-foot jump of the season, leaping for a distance of 50-04.00….had four top-five finishes in the triple jump…took first at the MSSU Lion Invite with a jump of 48-06.00.
2011 Season: Outdoor - NCAA Regional Qualifier in the triple jump... placed second at the SLC meet with a personal best mark of 50-08.00... finished second at the LSU Alumni Gold with his first 50-foot jump in his career with a 50-02.75 mark... placed 27th at the NCAA's with a leap of 49-00.75... had seven top five finishes in the triple jump including a first place finish at the Cowboy Relays... also competed in the long jump and had a personal best mark of 22-05.75 at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational.
Indoor - finished fifth in the triple jump at the SLC Indoor Championships with a 49-03... ninth in the long jump in the same meet with at 22-06.5 leap... had a season-best measure in the long jump with a 22-11.25 at the McNeese State Jeff Davis Bank Indoor Meet to rank 11th in the league for the season... his 49-11.25 in the triple jump at the same meet ranked as the fifth best in the conference for the season.??
2010 Season - Competed in the long jump and the triple jump... had four to 10 finishes in the long jump... had a best finish of fifth at the Louisiana Classics with a 21-05... placed a personal best of 22-03 at the NSU Invitational while placing ninth... posted a personal best 49-11.75 in the triple jump at the SLC Championships while placing fifth... placed second at the Cowboy Relays with a distance of 47-01... placed in the top 10 in the triple jump at all six events he competed in.??
High School: Recorded a distance of 40-0 in the triple jump his freshman year while jumping 20-0 in the long jump... Sophomore year, improved both to 44-0 and 21-7... Junior season, track teams won district and regional championships... runner-up at state meet... jumped 48-6 junior year in the triple jump and 22-7 in the long jump... also ran 110m hurdles in 15.1s... senior year, progressed to 48-11 in the triple jump and 23-6 in long jump while cutting off .4 seconds on the 110m hurdles to 14.7.
