2013 Outdoor Season: Competed in the 4x400 relay… member of the second place 4x400 that ran a time of 3:17.35 at the Southeastern Lion Invitational… relay team finished fifth in a season-best 3:13.56 at the LSU Alumni Gold meet.  
 
2013 Indoor Season: Competed in the 400m dash and the 4x400 relay… ran a season-best 400m time of 49.83 at the Tyson Invitational… member of the fifth place 4x400 team (3:22.33) at the SLC Championships.

2012 Outdoor Season: Competed in the 400m dash and 4x400 relay… registered a season-best time of 50.64 in the 400m at the Southeastern Lions Invitational, placing 18^th… finished sixth in the 4x400 at the Southeastern Lions Invitational (3:22.37). 
 
2012 Indoor Season: Placed second in the 400m at the MSSU Lion Invite (51.35) and the McNeese Cowboy Indoor Invite (52.00)… member of the first-place distance medley relay team at the McNeese Invite (10:50.08).
 
2011 Outdoor Season: Ran the 400 meters and a member of the 4x400 relay team... clocked in at 49.30 for an eighth place finish in the 400 meters at the Louisiana Classics... member of the 4x400 relay team that placed second at the NSU Leon Johnson Invitational with a time of 3:13.44.  
 
2011 Indoor Season: Ran the 400m dash and was clocked at a 50.51 at the Texas A&M Chal­lenge.
 
High School: Competed three years in track and football at Northwest High School in Opelousas… a member of BETA, sci­ence and social studies club, and in honor’s English.
 
Personal: Born Feb. 15, 1992… son of Alvin and Zedra Charles… three brothers - Alvin King, Jerrell Charles, Ja­mal Charles… majoring in psychology and plans to own his own practice.
