2013 Season: Outdoor – Finished in the top three in the high jump in six of seven meets…placed third at the SLC Championships, clearing a height of 6-08.75…came in second at the McNeese Springtime Classic after clearing a personal-best 6-09.00. Indoor- Registered three top-five performances in the high jump, including a first place finish at the McNeese Indoor with a mark of 6-04…cleared a season-best height of 6-06.75 at the MSSU Lion Open and the SLC Championships, placing fourth on both occasions.

High School: Lettered in track and field and basketball…named to the all-district and all-metro teams in high jump as a junior…placed third in the high jump at the LHSAA outdoor championships with a leap of 6-7 as a junior…all-metro in the 110m hurdles and high jump/all-district and all-state in the high jump as a senior…took first place in the high jump at the LHSAA indoor and outdoor championships, reaching a height of 6-10 at the outdoor meet…also took first place at the outdoor championships in the 100m hurdles.
 
Personal: Son of Jacquelyn Ellison and Lionel Ellison Jr. …born on Oct. 19, 1994…has one brother, Samuel…majoring in industrial engineering technology.
