High School: Lettered in track, cross country and football at East Ascension High … as a senior, he made it to state for cross country with a time of 16:30 … also made it to regionals for the mile (4:36), 4x8 (1:59) and the open 800 (2:00) in track, hitting personal best for all events … has the second best time for mile and 800 at his high school … team captain for the cross country team and distance captain for the track and field team ... as a junior, he qualified for regionals for the 4x8 in track, splitting 2:01 and breaking a school record of 8:03 for the 4x8 in track.
