2025 Outdoor Season: Earned a trip to the NCAA First Round as a member of the 4x100 relay, where the Demons finished 19th with a time of 39.78 ... won a pair of silver medals at the Southland Conference Championships, one in each relay ... clocked a 39.53 in the 4x100 and 3:07.01 in the 4x400 relays ... finished in the top three nine times ... ran a 47.59 in the 400-meter dash, finishing 11th ... part of the 4x400 relay team that broke the school record at the LSU Alumni Gold, running a 3:06.06 ... also ran a season-best 39.45 as a member of the 4x100 relay team at LSU, which earned him an All-Louisiana spot on the second team ... took the top spot in the 400 at the Lurline Hamilton Invitational with a season-best 46.94 ... the 4x400 relay team took first at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational with a time of 3:09.72 ... clocked a season-best 21.49 in the 200-meter dash at the Pelican Relays ... ran a 21.52 in the 200 at the Michael Johnson Invitational ... finished third at the home meet in the 400 with a time of 47.36 ... place seventh in the 400 at the TCU Horned Frog Invite with a 47.48.
2025 Indoor Season: Competed in the sprints ... earned a gold as a member of the 4x400 relay team that ran a 3:10.78 at the Southland Championships ... nearly registered points at the conference meet with a 10th place finish in the 400-meter dash, clocking a 48.26 ... a part of the 4x400 relay team that broke the school record, clocking a 3:09.05 at the Tyson Invitational ... broke the record 3:10.87 the same group set at the Stan Scott Invitational ... clocked season bests in the 60-meter dash (6.95), 200-meter dash (21.42) and 400-meter dash (47.34) at the Stan Scott Invite & Multis, placing ninth in the 400 ... also ran a 6.95 in the 60 at the LSU Twilight ... ran a 47.79 in the 400-meter dash at the Tyson Invitational.

2024 Outdoor Season: Ran season bests in the 200 (21.32) and 400 (49.31) at the Leon Johnson Invitational ... member of the 4x400 relay team that ran a 3:15.83 at the Louisiana Classic to place third ... a part of the 4x100 relay team that finished fourth at the Louisiana Classic at a 41.06 ... clocked a season-best 10.81 in the 100-meter dash at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout ... ran a 49.82 in the 400 at the LSU Alumni Gold ... clocked a 22.41 in the 200 at the Keyth Talley Invitational ... ran a 21.71 in the 200 and 48.34 in the 400 at the Southland Conference Championships.
2024 Indoor Season: Competed in two meets and two events ... clocked a personal-best 6.97 in the 60-meter dash in the opener at the LSU Purple Tiger ... member of the 4x400 relay team that garnered a fourth-place finish at the Samford Invitational with a time of 3:19.46.

2023 Outdoor Season: Found the podium as a member of the  4x400 relay team that finished second at the Southland Conference championships with a time of 3:08.57, the best mark of the season for NSU ... Member of the 4x100 relay team that placed seventh in the 4x100 relay at the Bobcat Invitational, running a 41.18 ... Ran a season best in the 400-meters at the SLC championships with a 49.23, finishing ninth ... Placed 11th in the 400-meters at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational, running a 21.56 ... Clocked a 21.51 in the 200-meters at the Michael Johnson Invitational.

2023 Indoor Season: Competed in four sprints events ... Member of the Distance Medley Relay team for NSU that competed in the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, placing seventh with a time of 10:23.73 ... Placed 16th in the 400 with a time of 50.77 and 29th in the 200 with a time of 22.11 at the Tyson Invitational, both of which were season bests... Ran a 7.07 in the 60-meters and a member of a 4x400 relay team that finished 14th with a time of 3:22.99 at the Pittsburg State Invitational.


2022 Outdoor Season: Ran a leg on the fourth-place 4x400 team that clocked a 3:12.10 … finished 14^th in the 400 meters with a 50.75 … ran a personal best 47.55 in the 400 to place third at Texas State … added his fastest 100 time of 10.79 at Baylor … added a second-place 4x400 relay and a third-place 4x400 at TCU.

2022 Indoor Season: Part of a 4x400 relay that claimed bronze at the SLC Championships with a season-best 3:16.06 … ran two sprints at conference, finishing ninth in the 200 meters with a personal record 21.57 and 14^th in the 400 with a 49.71 … three 60 meters races with a personal best 6.99 to finish fourth in the Texas A&M prelims … added a fourth-place finish in the 400 at Texas A&M (48.99) and a fifth in the 200 (21.72) at Texas Tech.

High School: Broke Grant High’s records in the 100 and 200 meters (21.60) … took bronze in the Class 3A championships in the 100 and 400 meters … added four district and three regional titles throughout his career … most decorated track athlete in Grant High history, taking the MVP honor in every meet of his senior season …

Personal: Son of Gregory and Seleta Loyd … has a child, Za'Rissa ... one brother Kenneth and three sisters Kaliesha, Tatayana and Skyenisha … aspires to run professionally and compete on Team USA or return to Grant and coach track … likes to hunt, fish and draw … physical education major who plans to keep training and make the 2028 Olympics and then plans to go to the army for a while then come back and be a coach later in life. … nickname is G Baby.
