High School: Named Versatile Athlete of the Year for the NISD as a senior at Northwest (Texas) High , where he was a member of the 4x400 school record team that ran a 3:19.47 and finished fourth at the regional championships … that 4x400 team also won the area and district championship … ran a 53.2 in the 400 and 2:01 in the 800  … district mile runner-up as a sophomore, running a 4:37 … named NISD Freshman of the Year, running a 5:03 in the mile … member of NHSTV.
