2013 Season: Outdoor – Won the Southland Conference individual championship in the 200m dash with a time of 20.73…placed third in the 100m dash, crossing the finish line in 10.45…named the Southland Conference Outdoor Track and Field Freshman of the Year for his performances at the SLC Championships…ran a personal-best 100m time of 10.39 at the Skechers/SFA Alumni Invitational, placing second…won the 200m dash in a personal-best and NSU second-best time of 20.64 at the Jim Mize Invitational…posted four first place finishes in the 200m dash and four top-three finishes in the 100m…member of the 4x100 team that ran a season-best 40.08 at the LSU Alumni Gold Meet...two-time SLC Track Athlete of the Week. Indoor- Competed in the 60m and 200m races…finished second in the 200m at the SLC Championships with a time of 21.73…recorded a personal-best 60m time of 6.96 in the prelims at the SLC Championships…ran a personal-best 200m time of 21.60 in the prelims at the Tyson Invitational.

High School: Lettered in track all four years and football two years... state champion in the 100m and 200m his senior season…regional champion and fourth place finisher at state in the 200m and 6^th at state in the 100m as a sophomore…district and regional champion in the 100m and 200m his junior and senior seasons…placed second in the 100m (10.47) and 200m at the state meet his junior year.
 
Personal: Son of Lysandra Carter…born June 26, 1994…has one brother, Michael Buckner, and one sister, Makkala Carter…majoring in psychology.
