Joined the team this season as a walk-on after a steady three-year career at Lafayette High School ... lettered three years in basketball and once in track as a prep while playing basketball for Coach Butch Stockton and competing in track for Coach Jay Stelly ... played point guard at Lafayette, earning all-district, all-parish and All-Acadiana honors during his career .. will be in the middle of a battle for playing time as Demons seek to find a true point guard for the season ... has good quickness to offset lack of height ... smallest player on the Demon team and only demon under six-feet tall ... makes up for that with quickness and hustle ... while the learning process may take some time he figures to see some action for the Demons as he gains college experience ... is the son of Clifton and Carol Brown of Lafayette and has a younger brother and a younger sister ... age 18, no NSU letters, health and physical education majior.
