2019 Season: Appeared in 10 games, including three starts … notched a half tackle for loss in each of his final two appearances of the season – at McNeese (Nov. 2) and vs. Lamar (Nov. 9) … recorded six tackles at McNeese and against Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 28) … added a tackle for loss against SLU … had a career-high eight tackles (5 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry at Houston Baptist on Sept. 21 … made his first career start at No. 4 LSU on Sept. 14 and started against Southeastern Louisiana and at Nicholls (Oct. 12).

2018 Season: Appeared in eight games as a redshirt freshman … made five tackles as a reserve buck, including a season-high two at Lamar … made single tackles against Grambling, Southeastern and Nicholls.
    
2017 Season: Redshirted.
    
High School: First-team All-Cenla by the Alexandria Town Talk … also a member of the Cenla Super 6 group of top prospects … two-sport athlete at Pineville … lettered four years in football for coach Robbie Martin, a starting offensive lineman on NSU’s 1988 Southland championship team … 96 tackles (14.5 for loss), 16 quarterback hurries, five forced fumbles, five blocked kicks, four touchdowns, three sacks and two fumble recoveries … three-time second-team All-District … three-year track letterman for coach Dan Christman … District 2-5A champion and regional qualifier in the shot put as a junior … 2015 shot put state qualifier as a sophomore … helped lead the Rebels to the 2015 district track and field championship.

Personal: Born Oct. 1, 1998 … son of Alisha King and the late Walter Wells Jr. …  has one younger brother, Jadon … honor roll member was a National Honor Society member and Student Council representative in high school … Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society member… member of Northwestern State’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee ... industrial engineering technology major with a 3.6 GPA … would like to work making product blueprints … life’s ambition is “walking this Earth doing the will of God.”
