Munch in High School:  All-State as a center for two years (state coaches association) and an LSWA (sports writers) All-State pick as a senior ... played on four straight state champion teams at John Curtis  ... made All-District twice, was All-East Bank and All-Metro as a senior ... team went 12-2 in his senior season, was unbeaten and ranked No. 2 nationally in his junior year, when among his teammates was USC tailback Joe McKnight... played for legendary coach J.T. Curtis.
