• improved free throw aim by 28% as a sophomore, sinking 67.8% from the line
• also raised FG aim 3% up to 45%
• shot 48% on FG in conference play, getting 6 of his 7 starts
• led Demons in assists twice, season high 4 at Texas State
• missed 7 games related to a pair of concussions, first sustained at Grambling 12/17
• picked up nickname of "Cloudy" resulting from concussions

In 2007-08:

• as a true freshman, played in all 33 games and started 14, all of those coming against SLC foes beginning with a surprise start in the SLC opening win over Texas-Arlington, the eventual SLC Tournament champion
• scored a season-best 10 points, hitting 2-2 on 3-pointers, in an OT loss Jan. 19 at UTSA
• had his three-best assist outputs in last 7 games, with season-best 6 at Lamar, 5 in home win over UCA and 4 in SLC finals against UTA
• shot 60% on 3s but only 40% on FTs
• did sink 59% of FT in SLC games when he also had a 42-32 assists/turnover ratio

In High School:

• 19 ppg, 12 rpg, 6 assists pg, 2 blocks pg as a senior at Bolton HS under coach Duke Allgood
• first-team all-district, honorable mention All-State Class 4A, All-Cenla as a senior
• second-team All-State Class 4A, first-team all-district, for coach Warren Sears at Alexandria Senior High, when he averaged 14.7 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 11.0 assists pg, 2.3 steals pg and 1.7 blocks
• second-team all-district at ASH as a sophomore, with a 17.6 ppg average
• part of a state runner-up team at Whitefield Academy in Mabelton, Ga., under coach Tyrone Johnson
• sports editor of the school newspaper at Bolton
• spoke to elementary students as part of Bolton’s D.A.R.E. program
