2022 Outdoor Season: Captured two relay gold medals at the SLC Championships with legs of the 4x100 (45.97) and the 4x400 (3:44.63) … reached the finals in the 100 and 200 meters … took sixth in the 100 with an 11.89 and eighth in the 200 with a 25.78 … clocked a personal best 11.78 in the 100 prelims to reach the finals … added a 200 personal best of 23.91 at NSU to place fifth … ran legs on winning relays at NSU (4x100) and SFA (4x400) … added a pair of second-place efforts at Texas State in 100 and 200 … ran in the 100 at Texas Relays (36^th) and on the 4x400 (22^nd).
2022 Indoor Season: Captured fifth in the 60 and the 200 at the Southland Conference championships … clocked a 7.67 in the 60 and a season-best 24.96 in the 200 … season-best in the 60 was a 7.66 at Texas Tech (15^th) … ran a 4x400 leg at Ted Nelson Inv., finishing fifth (3:53.49).

Before NSU: Competed at Louisiana Tech for four seasons … bronze medalist at Conference USA Outdoors in the 200 meters (23.81) … one sixth-place finish in the C-USA Outdoors 100 meters and two top-eight finishes in the C-USA Indoors 60 meters … personal bests of 7.57 (60), 11.62 (100) and 23.76 (200) … at Brusly High, won three individual state titles in the short sprints … won the 60 meters as a senior in D2 … took home the 100 meters title in Class 3A as a senior … won the 100 and 200 crowns as a junior in Class 3A … captured three silvers and four bronze medals in individual state title races in her career … four-time region and three-time district MVP … helped Brusly to a team state title D2 indoors and Class 3A outdoors … as a relay runner, part of four relay state titles -- two 4x200 and two 4x400

Personal: Daughter of Demetris Butler and Cedric Shaw … two siblings Demeshia and Carlie … pursuing who master’s in health and human performance … aspires to be a health and wellness program coordinator with eventual plans to go to physical therapy school … member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
