2021-22 Season (COVID-19 Freshman): First-Team All-Southland Conference and First-Team All-Defense as he started all 30 games in which he appeared and averaged 29 minutes per game … picked to Second Team All-Louisiana ... collected 17 double doubles to rank 10^th nationally … 12 of those double doubles came against SLC teams … averaged a double double with 15.4 points and 10 rebounds … 16 double doubles came in the last 23 games … shot nearly 55 percent from the field, ranking 40^th nationally … career-high 20 rebounds against SLU, first 20-rebound game at NSU since 2010 … six 20-point games, including career-high 25 against UIW … also had 20+ against McNeese, UIW again, UNO, SMU and Tulsa … other notable double doubles include LSU and Texas A&M … team-high 40 blocks and near team-high 30 steals … 463 points is 29th in NSU single-season history … 304 rebounds is 13^th best in single-season history … reached double-figure scoring in 28 of his 30 games.

2020-21 Season (Freshman): One of five Demons to appear in all 29 games ... led Northwestern State in blocks with 33 and had three four-block games and two more with three ... also topped the team in rebounds (188) and rebounding average (6.5) ... had a team-high five double-figure rebounding games, topped by 15 against ULM ... scored in double figures five times, including a pair of back-to-back, double-figure games (at TCU, vs. ULM and at Stephen F. Austin, at Southeastern Louisiana) ... had his first career double-double against ULM, setting career highs in scoring (18) and rebounds (15) ... sealed NSU's win at Southeastern Louisiana by hitting two free throws with 16.4 seconds to play.  

High School:  Post player from Captain Shreve High that morphed into one of the best defensive players in the state in his last two seasons … led the state in blocks as a junior, garnering his district’s defensive player of the year honors … led district in blocks as a senior as the Gators posted a 26-7 record, winning a first-round Class 5A playoff game … team improved to win 44 games in his last two seasons after winning just 19 combined in the two previous seasons … graduated with a 3.9 GPA. 

Personal: Son of Kevin and Daphne Coleman … one younger sister Dya … planning on majoring in general studies … Once he graduates, Kendal aspires to be an athletic trainer overseas.
